How Do I Burn WipeDrive to a CD/DVD?
Solution

Users have two options in burning WipeDrive to a CD/DVD. They can either copy the Windows Installer to CD or create a bootable WipeDrive CD from the ISO file.

1) How to Copy the Windows Installer to CD

Download the Windows Installer from the download link.

If you purchased from a retail store, register your purchase at http://www.whitecanyon.com/whitecanyon-register.php and submit a ticket asking for a download link

Burn the Installer to CD/DVD.

Copy the Installer to the Window's desktop on the destination computer.

Run WipeDrive

2) How to Create a Bootable WipeDrive CD from the ISO file

An ISO file cannot be be burned by 'dragging and dropping' the file onto the CD. ISO files are IMAGE files, and are somewhat like ZIP archives. They contain many smaller files that must be extracted to the CD at time of burn. ISO files also contain the hidden bootable properties to allow you to boot your computer from the CD, and it is required to securely wipe a hard drive.

There are many CD / DVD burning utilities available that can properly burn an ISO file to CD.
