Spyware Doctor Selected as Best Anti-Spyware Product in PC Magazine's "Best Of the Year"

Prestigious Ranking Includes Only the Finest Technology Offerings From More Than 1,300 Products Tested This Year

Spyware Doctor, the spyware removal and real-time protection software from PC Tools, was chosen as the best anti-spyware product in PC Magazine's "Best Of The Year," a prestigious annual listing that features the year's top technology products evaluated by the publication.

Of the more than 1,300 products that were reviewed in 2005 by the publication's editors, writers and reviewers, only 93 products made the Best Of The Year list for their respective categories, representing what PC Magazine calls "the cream of the year's tech crop."

Earlier this year, Spyware Doctor 3.2 received the Editors' Choice award from PC Magazine, beating out six competitors in the anti-spyware category such as Webroot, Symantec and Microsoft. The product was lauded by PC Magazine Lead Analyst Neil Rubenking as "the most effective of all the products tested at both blocking and removing spyware and keyloggers."
